The study addresses the potential of an underutilized MetroLink surface parking lot and the immediate context to be developed as a high-density mixed-use destination in Belleville, Illinois. The imagined new “urban Village” would provide a wide range of residential options plus new shops, restaurants and entertainment venues less than a half hour by Metro from downtown St. Louis or from nearby Scott Air Force base.
