Sited outside of Boston on Revere Beach, the building provides 266 apartments for the elderly. An unusual complement of ancillary uses augment the basic accommodations.
These include a 330 seat dining room, lounge, commissary, offices for visiting physicians, meeting room, laundry, library, and sun decks.
Double and single loaded corridor elements are arranged to give every apartment and ocean view. The building steps down toward the ocean to generate wind protected sun decks and relate to the scale of adjacent housing.
