This 180,000 sf facility is located in the Roxbury Crossing section of Boston, adjacent to the Southwest Corridor Park. The facility brings together many Police Department functions into a single, state-of-the-art structure.
In addition to serving as the administrative and professional center of the Boston Police Department, the Headquarters building also houses all central police communication systems, including E-911 and all communication to mobile police units. Community services, such as a day-care facility and 24-hour cafeteria, are also included to help forge stronger ties between the police and the general public.
